Probably parts that they don't have in stock......

Sorry, could resist that !!

Once you determine what those part numbers are, your best bet is to contact a Canadian shop....apparently, they never have any parts shortage.......

I guess I would really need the gearing. I can fab up the frames or mount if I had to.

Thanx, oldfart.....no need to change a good thing !

Unfortunately, the Wasp won't get to see it as he has me on his ignore list....... Wait........maybe he will..... I know that he periodically takes me off the list long enough to make a comment and then he'll pop me back on his hissy list ....

If you download the manual for the gasser, you can get the part numbers. Basically, it's the gearing, lower rear frames, lower front frames, the inner metal X frame for the back, the front metal A-frame, front radio tray(the glow one can probably be adapted), fuel tank, hardware kit (standoffs, screws and such) and lower landing gear frame. I just had to buy most of those parts for my gasser after a crash, you're looking at about $225 or so for everything but the gearing (I didn't need to buy that, mine survived), plus the engine and pipe. I got the frames in carbon, using the aluminum bits would drop about $60 or so from that total. Buying a new engine and pipe would put you in the $650-$700 range for a conversion.
