It would be easy to custom make one out of fiberglass, but you need to see how well it will work with the nitro,,,,,,

There is a flat Nalgene container
that is 1/2gallon that measures
6x9x3 so you could stack two of them

Are'nt the new Dutch Boy "Twist and pour" paint about that size (9x9x9).

Why don't you buy a gallon, paint that bathroom, get those browny points and go fly

Well
Do you know of any fuel bottle/jug caps that fit that twist&turn on the Dutch Boy

That was not part of your spec !

Why would you need a cap like this ?
Just install a Dubro EZ-filler and you should be in business.

A word of warning before setting out to make your own glass-fiber tank... Don't! No matter how careful you are, it's very difficult to seal the matting completely. It only takes a small fiber to get into your carb jet for it to starve the engine. Even using a filter doesn't cure the problem because I've experienced fuel starvation after a short period of running but after a brief stop the engine is ok again. The fibres clog the filter causing the starvation and then get pumped back out of the filter to collect at some time later.

Only a warning

After reading other posts along this line, I took the suggestion of one poster and purchased 2 x Du-Bro 50oz aircraft fuel tanks.

When these are plumbed together in the confined area of your flightbox, they will give you about 3 litres of fuel storage.
