Could AR7000 RX handle 8.4 volts? And, could most JR 2.4 and Spektrum receivers handle 8.4 volts?

AR7000 spec is 3.5-9.6 Volts, so no problems.

Im not sure but I think at least most of these are to 9.6volts.

The AR9000 is, and 6300 also.

just remember that some gyros and gyro servos, can not handle more then 5 volts

Use Spectrum VR5203 voltage regulator for the Gyro. What its made for in this app. Reduces down to 5.2volts just for the Gyro.

I'm using the Spartan Gyro with JR8717 for tail so, no step down (voltage) necessary .
