| Oh, boy !!There are so many variables involved that I doubt you'll bet a __reliable__straight answer on that one !! There is a difference between "bogging" and "sagging"......are you sure you are experiencing "bogging" ??
If you know when your motor is rich and you know when your motor is lean, then shoot for a setting that is just slightly "rich" from being lean........ I know that sounds like double talk but that's the best way to describe it......
Variables....... many of them...... including your flying style...you may need to be a little less agressive with your maneuvers (pitch management).......
You may have a setup with too much TOTAL PITCH...... meaning, too much cyclic pitch and too much collective pitch......when you combine the two in extreme maneuvers, that in itself will tend to "bog" any well running motor.......
Head speed......what head speed are you running ?? For aggressive 3D, 2000 plus is preferred..... the higher the headspeed (within reason) the better the motor will recover during those "bogging" types of moves.....
What blades are you using ?? Lighter, stiffer blades are better for 3D......
The list goes on and on..........
Lastly, are you running a governor ?? Using a governor can help you maintain a more consistent headspeed through all phases of flying...
Good luck ! |
