I am seriously thinking about getting a 200. I gather the standard servos are HS-45's for the swash and a 3153 for the tail (or HS-50 ?). I have a logictech 2100 that I'll pull from the Trex for this.

But, I was wondering if anyone has actually tried the micro-lite pack from Spektrum? Digital coreless servos for the same price as HS-45's ?

gaui 200 spectrum

I am building mine with that pack. I figure any weight I can save is a good thing. I'll check back after we get it flying.

I was just informed of the issue of connecting the ESC and gyro leads. Either you replace the leads with the mini JST's or use adapters which end up taking back all the weight you saved.

Now I'm more curious on comparing the HS-45's to the DSP60's - real world. 'cuz on the spec's those DSP60's look good.

I use the regular S60 on cyclic and had a 3154 on the tail. The cyclics work good but my tail servo fried. Im now using a DSP 60 on the tail and that seems to work good.

It was a "Brown Out" not me.

I gave up on the smaller spectrum reciever.

There is plenty of room for the 6100 and weight doesn't seem to be an issue. If anything, the extra weight up front helps getting it balanced.
