What are you comments on the one pc. head button and see-Saw upgrade for
the Raptor 30?

Is there a performance increase, or just eye candy?
Of course it will save the palm of your hand I guess.

thanks in advance for comments,
Dean

Adds weight to your heli, takes weight out of your wallet. I have been stopping my rotorhead with my palm, since the Raptors came out. I'm still looking for wear on my palm, well wear from the rotorhead, that is.

rchelial: Thanks for the input.
I feel a similar way to the headbutton/see-saw. I think the stock see-saw works fine.

It would be nice to have a button for stopping the rotor head on spool down... but I think I would spend that extra funds on fuel or..... 3D fins!

I recently got an order placed for some parts, I thought about the see-saw/button upgrade but then decided on a set of 3D carbon fins for my raptor. I am hoping these fins are much more vigid then the stock fins ( of course they will be, its CF! ).

I am hoping they will cut down on vibrations and maybe I will be able to turn my gyro gain a little higher.

Comments on the 3D fins? They are Mr. Carbon 3D CF fins for my 30.

Thanks for the input,
Dean

Much easier to stop the rotor without the button.

Button would've been handy yesterday!

A friend was helping me with a cranky OS 50 yesterday and finally got it running decently and decided to start some 3D with it, when the throttle linkage popped off causing a really cool looking inverted sort of auto! Anyway, the engine was still running about 25% open and the head was still running pretty quick - As I was trying to slow down the head with my palm (no head button) I was really thinking to myself dang - I wish I had a head button!!!!!!

Next rebuild (AKA: Crash! ) I'm definitely puttin one on!

P.S. My hand hurts.
