I've changed the scheme now but it was UN white for last season.

It looks like the real thing in that picture. I like the white UN colors/markings.

Oh man. Thats so beautiful. Almost makes me want one too. What a shame I suck at painting and wood work

What mechanics are we talking about here?

Ha ha, my immediate response would be NO, but that comes from years of denying absolutely everything!! Yes, that's me and that's the one in Model Helicopter World. Apparently there is a report from the LHC scale event in this months mag (I haven't got mine yet) where I won the ride in a Bell 47 (fantastic!!!!!) and also, very luckily, a ride in a Hughes 500 (also fantastic, with many many thanks to Chopper Jockey)
The mechanics are Vario converted to clockwise rotaion, with the OF head and OF 5 blade tail. It's now got the 26cc piston and sleeve in so we'll see how well it runs this year.
Don't worry, I'm not that good at woodwork or painting either, but I use the same solution that I use with vibration-just fly it further away, then you don't see it so well

Yeah. I saw that article. What gave it away was the lettering on the bottom left side of the heli.

Vario mechanics hum? I have a friend with a Bell 222 with vario mechanics (but with a 60 size Novarossi).

I suppose your fuselage was made from scratch then?

Hi Tony
No, it is the fuselage made by Baumann and available from Starwood Models, they do the short (mine) and the long version, (Dr Tims).
The mechanics are the petrol trainer, not the glow version. A lot bigger. Three servo eCCPM but no mixers or gyros on the head. What about the lettering on the bottom left? Was I flying it too close that you could see it was untidy
