Has anyone had problems with the fit of the swash ball on the main shaft? Mine is so tight I can't even begin to slide it down the shaft. Pushed it on about half an inch and thought I was going to tear the bearing blocks out of the frame trying to get it back off. Problem is I don't know if it is the main shaft or the swash ball which is out of spec. Either way I am at a road block until something is done.

I found my mixing base to be extreamly tight also but I guess I can work that out.

If you tighten the screws too tight that attach the washout arms to the mixing base it will cause the base to be extremely tight and bind.

My washout base was a couple of thousandths loose on the main shaft without the screws inserted. By adjusting the screw torque, you can easily tune the fit of the washout to the shaft and get "zero" play. As it wears this fit can be maintained until you strip the threads

By the way, if the washout binds a little when the driver pins are engaged, try rotating the washout base 180 deg and slide it back onto the pins. Mine dragged a little one way, was absolutely perfect the other. A little free tip for ya...
