The tail on my N9 drags slowly to the right when im hovering and i have no clue whats causing the problem. Also when im hovering tail-in the heli leans towards me and i have no idea whats causing that either. What can i do to fix that? An interesting fact is that i dont know much maybe nottin about fixing helis but i want to learn. Thanx for your time!!

First question, did you dial indicate your fan hub and clutch shaft? Do you have the Hyper hub? If you haven't dial indicated everything then your gyro may be picking up vibrations from parts that are not running true.

The leaning may be from a setup issue, i.e., the swash not being level when setting it up. Did you use a swash leveling tool?

Jeff

To hover is divine, the alternative is rather PLANE.

Is the heli balanced? It sounds like it could be nose heavy.

cdrking i think you just spoke in chinesse to me hahaha.. i thought there was an easy way to fix that but i guess not. i have all the hyper parts and my friend who put the heli together told me that everything was right when he was breaking in the engine. he told me the swash plate was leveled and that everything was running smooth. but like i said i dont know much about parts or anything.
he also told me to check if it was balanced using the flybar and it looked to me that it was balanced.

What gyro. you should check to see if the swash is level at the zero pitch point. just eye ball it for now. it is probably off.

Well you say the heli "leans" if it is a little lean and still just sits in one spot its normal. If it is leaning and moving toward you, your swash plate is not level. Also for your tail moving, check or have someone check your thunbs or fingers when you are flying you could be moving the stick a little. Maybe y0ou might need some expo in your rudder. Maybe your headspeed might be a little too slow?

im gonna go ahead and check if the swash is leveled. what if is not? how do i level it?
i have a 9303 and the expo were at 50% and the response on the rudder werent that fast so i dont think my thumbs were the problem. i might bring it down to maybe 40% or so to get a faster response

Pick it up by the flybar with bades parrellel to the boom. The heli should tip slightly towards the nose with a half tank of fuel. If it tilts towards the tail add a little bit of nose weight.
