i am in the process of finishing my pantera 50,
im still pretty new at helis so this might be a dumb question but..
is the swash supposed to move down to get positive pitch? just wondering i haven't seen that before..

correct, swash is opposite for pitch. Threw me too, as my previous experiance had also been "up swash" = pos pitch. Made me take a look closer at the head dynamics. Leading edge grip linkage, flybar interaction vs blade interaction. Helped me understand the physics of the whole head better.

Do you ever fly up at the sod farm in Longmont? Once your pantera is in the air, we'll have three quarters of the Panteras flying in Colorado that I'm aware of. Not sure if that means anything though.

I think I've hijacked your thread -> talking about Pantera flying on the CO front range

Sod Farm, a site mentioned in the club 'ColoradoRotorHeads' http://coloradorotorheads.com/flyingsites.php

I have not flown there ether, as it's private property and I'm not a member of the club. I've have dropped by a few times looking for someone flying because it's so close to me. I want to wait to fly till I'm there with someone and have an 'in'. Not sure it matters, but I'll be a lot more comfortable. The last thing I want to do is irritate people with my flying.

As far as parts, HobbyTown Westminister is giving it a try, but with only a few kits there is very little demand, and they can't dedicate the space and product sitting on the shelfs. I've bought a kit and a few parts from them, but I usually add some parts when I do other orders to save shipping, or buy from Audacity direct. There may be more heli oriented stores in Denver, I just never have a chance to get to them. I've been wanting to go back to Colpar, where I bought my first heli, to see what they have but I never remember to get directions when I find I'm headed that far south.
