John,
how much weight does this save over the V2?

Looks nice John.
From the looks of your airborne battery you could save bunch as well.
I am running the li poly 12v battery and I get one hour run time out of a 53gram battery.

Yea that is correct, less than two ounces gets you over an hour of video downlink power. Combine the two and you should see more weight loss that Jenny Craig.

Might be good for those with space/altitude-payload issues.

FMA is the supplier of both battery and chargers.

The carbon mount looks verry impressive.
Thanks for sharing.

Gyro Stab.

Is that gyro Stab. really needed, I mean it seems like more of a pita than what its worth at 135 volts and needing a converter and all, not to mention the cost of it. With you guys coming out with the newer carbon verson Im sure the price of the standard V1 and V2 mounts will go down right???
