...like me who got an axe cp to start out with (not knowing any better) and bought realflight to learn to fly it. The realflight representation of the axe cp is horribly inaccurate with the tail setup. I found the following on the realflight forums and I can tell you that this axe variant is as close to the real thing as it gets. My thanks for the author of this one.

Before I knew the difference between the handling characteristics of a rate gyro vs a hh gyro (the real axe has a rate gyro, not hh as is found in the stock sim version) I couldn't figure out what was going on with the tail when I flew it. I didn't understand why it was so different from the simulator. This variant in the above link fixes that, so that when you transition from sim to the axe, you should have little surprise (except for wind).
