So, on another board, somebody opened the TM-7 module and found that the hardware is identical to the TM-8. Even the 7 / 8 switch is there on the board. Since I don't have a 8ch Rx to test, can somebody confirm this?
Guess there is a reason the TM-8 is only U$10 more than the TM-7. Futaba charges U$10 to cut out the sticker over the 7/8 switch.

The hardware might be identical, but the firmware is likely different. I think there is no way to use more than 7 channels with the TM-7.

Try it and see ! Early TM-7 probably don't have the TM-8 s/w. But current versions may be identical ?

Tried with a 608 Rx. No Joy. Probably missing the 'Multichannel' software.
