Just wanted to get this out there for anyone who needs a good deal on a good iron! For the last couple of years I've been using the "el cheapo" sub $20 irons and haven't had any issues.. I guess I just didn't want to spend a lot of money on an iron when I could spend the money on other R/C Stuff.

Check it out, works awesome and compares to the expensive Weller setup. Can't beat it for the price $36.99

That looks incredibly like the Hako I've been using for the last 10 years. I wonder if it's the same iron with the HF brand name put on? My Hako is a good iron (as good as Weller IMO) so a relabeled version at that price would be a good thing in my book. (I know I paid more than double that price for mine...)

If you don't have a Harbor freight near you Sears has the Weller WLC100 for $49.95, cheaper than the one I use at work that came from Newark Electronics.
