| boy do i feel your pain. i was on the list for a 10C, and after it got pushed back 3 times i was set for the 12FG too, but with that kinda money being spent, i went for the 12Z.........look at it this way, if you add the 12FG trainer chord which is 30 bucks more than the one the 12Z uses, then add a nice case, you are now within 150 bucks of the 12Z. what did it for me was the volume adjustment capabilities as i use the countdown timers and need to hear them, the 12Z use more expensive sticks, http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_6.../tm.htm#6946003 the li-ion battery is much easier in regards to maintenance, the LCD screen is bigger and has nicer graphics, the menu navigation is much easier with the return keys that are missing on the 12FG, the CF card is going to allow you to download and use setups from other 12Z/14Z users, and there are a few other little doodads that make buying the 12Z justifiable. at first i was pee'od at Futaba for the 10C delays, but now i couldn't be happier. |
