I have a tt .39 that I have been fooling with for a while now and finally got it to hover without overheating. I am 2 3/4 turns out on the low speed and 6 1/8 out on the high speed. That seems high for the high speed but it runs fine and seems to get hot but not like it use to. Does the high speed needle seem high to you all? I am still tail in hovering. I can hover nose in on the sim, but just do not want to do it in real life yet, there is no reset button

That would be considered VERY RICH on any OS engine, so would not know on a TT. If it sounds good and runs good let it be written.

If it doesn't fly sell it!

A good suggestion is to do the nose-in exercises up high. You will have the added benefit of height to bail you out if you need to.

As far as your needle settings, as along as you have a good running engine, not sizzling , you'll be okay. I know on the Toki engines, they need alot of turns out for the high eng. My TT36s needles are also turned out quite a bit does not harm the motor.
