I will be selling my trex 600 electric to buy a Raven to add to my 4 Hawks. I have ALOT of spare parts for the Hawks with some different motors as well. I was going to buy a 600N but I have really been thinking why not just buy a Raven? Any suggestions?
The main frames, main shaft, most of the gears, and most bearings are the same.

I've often wandered this same thing.
Has anyone taken the time to compile a list?

Also the tail rotor gear box, gears, output shaft, and a lot of "small" parts.

You can put a Raven head on a Hawk pro and vice versa
You can put Hawk skids on a Raven or Raven skids on a Hawk
Best way to upgrade a Hawk pro is buying a Raven kit
cheaper doing it this way

As all have stated. Thats the nice thing about these 2 helis, Most everything will interchange to the other.
If it doesn't fly sell it!

What would you do for the power of a .50?So I could put an OS 50 and muffler on a hawk, change the main blades and gearing. It won't be ccpm but would still be nice, or just buy the raven???
you could make the Hawk eccpm put the constant tail drive from the Raven, keep the 13t pinion on the intermediate shaft from the hawk put the Raven rotorhead on the Hawk, take the tail assembly from the Raven.Use the OS37 for fuel economy Now you have a Raven 30
Or you couldtake the mccpm from the Hawk and Head and put it on the Raven but now your using an OS50 engine not so good on fuel. Now you have an upgraded Kinetic 50 with constant taildrive.
The great thing with Century is that you can Frankenstein a heli to your liking.
Myself I like the Raven 30 it might not have the punch of a 50 but the fuel economy makes up for it in spades. Plus if you use the Raven fuel tank on a 30 you're looking at 25 min runtimes using 15% nitro. Compared to 10 minutes with a 50

one last thing if you decide to build a Raven 30 get a subC rx pack with those long flight times its easy to forget about the rx pack and/or use a battery monitor
I use HS-5625MG on the cyclic for my Raven30 batteries last longer with these servos since they don't draw much current. I get 4 flights easy almost 2 hrs of flying before they need a recharge

get a subC rx pack
IMO, just get a LiPo pack and don't worry about charging.
As mentioned here, most of the Hawk parts will fit on the Raven.
