| I have had two Freya 91's since June. I'm well past 45 gallons with them... I started out with the 12/93...it was OK, but nothing compared to the 11/93. If you do the math, its common sense that the 11/93 combo puts the engine nearer its optimum rpm than the other gear ratios. This is considering a 1750-1800 headspeed.
The neat thing about the 12 tooth is that the engine is church mouse quiet, however...I think that also tells you that the engine isn't giving its all...
Either way, you'll be impressed with the engine's power and fuel consumption. I don't think the YS80 is doing as well... Everyone at our field who had both, got rid of the YS80's.
I ran the 60 size muscle pipe for a while, it had a little blurp in transition when I unloaded the head, that I didn't like. BUT it had noticeably more power than the hatori! Even on 15%. Not that you'd need more power.... My friend lengthened a CY Muscle pipe and it ran a lot smoother and has tons of power. So, when Mr. Youngblood graces us with the 91 size MP...Lookout! I could not use the governor with the 60 size muscle pipe, but my buddy uses his with and without the governor with his bigger pipe.
If I ever run into any of you guys at a Funfly, I'd be more than happy to let you take one of the 91Freya's for a spin...
