| I installed both the center block and the metal engine mounts on my Synergy too and I believe it worths every penny!
After 3 gallons the whole drive train has remained aligned (clutch bell and stating shaft) and all previous vibrations during idle are almost completely gone. The only time I see a few ripples is when the engine (YS 91SR)just started but after a few moments, when the engine is nice and warm, you can barely see any movement in the fuel tank.
The sound of the heli is completely changed too! For me now it sounds like a racing machine ready to leap! The only way I can describe the new sound will be the the sound of a 2-stroke race bike. It is not any louder than before just it sounds .... alive!
Many people mention the original "feature" of the plastic engine mounts and the elimination of vibrations; I am one of these people but the new/SE engine mounts including the center block are worth the cost and effort.
I had to dig in my hardware supplies and pull out 4 new 4mm bolts which is not big deal anyway and according to Synergy they are now included with these parts.
Good work Synergy! |
