Miniature Aircraft Nitro/Gas Helicopters > what is pitch limit on 60se?

I have a 90 in my 60 se and it works great, but now want to get more agressive with it. Other than binding, is there a limit to how much pitch to use safely. I currently run 10.5 degrees. Can I do 12 degrees?

As long as it doesn't bog or so long as you know bow to manage collective properly then go ahead and max out the collective range so that it doesn't bind.

With the extended shaft (which you should have if it is an SE), I run ~11 on all of them (60 and 70 powered) thus you should have no issues. I do know the servo layout etc of the SE is slightly different so maybe someone using that servo tray and configuration can chime in. Plastic tray and extended shaft it should be possible. I have noticed slight binding at max collective and full fwd on the cyclic though.

What happens to a little bit binding? I mean if I go full pitch and give it full forward, then spin the main shaft so that the swash moves around a little. Is this bad?

As long as your anti-rotation pins don't touch the swash, you're ok. You don't need however so much through/pitch. Collective management is the key.

Just do it.
