My 450 cost me more then any other heli I've owned. I was way over confident with it and did things I shouldn't have causing me to crash a lot.

How much does a basic crash cost on a Stratus. Basic means mainshaft, tailboom, TT, blades, flybar, etc.... not frames, electronics, head, or motor.

Well since it's an eCCPM heli the servos will strip as with ANY eCCPM heli so you have to add that into the basic crash cost.

$125 for mast, flybar, aluminum tailboom, tq tube, spindle, boom supports. Don't forget a canopy. $75 and yes you will buy a new canopy if it's tore up. We are all to sensitive to how they look and buy new canopies.

Blades add another 125,
assorted links and crap 15
landing gear 20

However I have had pretty good luck with my Fury. I have always been in a position to get it upright and level and hit dirt versus concrete. Bent the horizontal channel that suppots the fuel tank and cracked a skid tube and strut. Everything else was fine. They can take a serious beating. I HIT IT HARD! Throttle arm came off doing aileron tic tocs and all of a sudden the engine just sounded like it died. Hit hold, leveled it off and WHAM! Thought it was going to be rediculous as it was falling like a rock. $30 is all it was. On the other hand I balled up my old Vigor CS and it was $500.

In God we trust, everyone else we monitor.

Well those prices don't seem all that bad, just don't crash.

If you can't afford to repair them after a crash , good sense tells me not to fly them Try keeping 4 of them in the air , now that's costly

If you're not living on the edge you're just taking up space !
