I know some of the software developers for Phoenix are members of this board. I figured I would create a thread so that anyone who comes across any bug in the software can post about it so that the developers can be made aware of it...perhaps correct it in newer software releases (which btw with the beauty of Phoenix are FREE, unlike other sims)

No, I don't work for them.

My Bug:

When editing max and min pitch on Main Rotor Settings the program closes itself.

I have Vista with SP1 and have the latest version of Phoenix.

This is dumb. Just email them instead of "hoping" they check the forum.

Regarding your bug, doesnt happen on mine what values are you entering and what version are you running?

With all due respect, if you don't like it don't bother posting.

Re-read my original post, you'll see i'm running the latest version of Phoenix. When I edit the max/min pitch to any value the program shuts down.

Sorry Vertiviper as Synergy suggested just email them. That way they can track any bugs internally. Have you emailed them ? they normally get back to you within 24hrs.

Your last reply seems sarcastic as if you think you've gotten a poor response, but I think the others are correct. I do think a thread like this might be useful for forum members, so that you'll know if other people have encountered the same bug as you. However I don't see why this is a useful way to communicate bugs to Phoenix, compared to just emailing them directly.

No, nothing sarcastic at all. I was kind of on the same boat as you, hoping other members would chime in with similar problems.
