I am using a Futaba 7C Fasst Radio. The VBAR instructions tell me to setup the Radio as a basic 4 channel setup. What swash setting in the radio are you using, still the 120 CCPM?

OK, I will look at it tonight and see if I can do that on the Futaba.

mixing

basically...the VBar does ALL the CCPM mixing internally...you need to remove ALL mixing in the radio...meaning no servo mixing or other mixes at all....

I don't understand the 1 servo 90 degrees, their is a total of 3 servos on cyclic. I know my questions might be stupid, but I don't want to mess this thing up!!

Swashplate mixing...

When you are setting the swashplate type in your radio for the particular model you can either choose "90 degree 1 servo" --"120 degree 3 servos" or "90 degree 3 servos" in most cases...some even have the "140 degree 3 servos" ...you just need to choose 1 servo 90 degree for vbar...this is CRITICAL

on the 7c, the parameter you want is Heli Type H1. See pg 61 of the manual. http://manuals.hobbico.com/fut/7c-manual.pdf

1 servo 90 deg is similar to the control on a Raptor 30/50 heli, where one servo is dedicated to each of the following functions - L/R cyclic, fore/aft cyclic, and collective pitch. If you lose one servo, then you still retain complete control over the remaining controls. All mixing occurs mechanically.

CCPM, or 3 servo 120/90/140, or 4 servo 90, uses servos directly coupled to the swashplate to give L/R cyclic, fore/aft cyclic, and collective pitch. All of the mixing is done in software. If you lose one servo, then you lose all control over all control inputs.
