How many who weren't on the first pre-order list (or who didn't buy them from someone who was) have received a kit yet? I saw that all of the original pre-orders were filled some time ago, but I haven't seen any reports of anyone receiving a kit stateside since then. It would be nice if those of use still waiting had a realistic timeframe.

From what I've heard there technically is no "second batch" so to say. AvantRC will keep producing kits and if your on one of the distributors list when your name comes up you'll get a kit. Until all the people on lists get their kits you won't see them on shelves in great numbers. Maybe on a hobby shop here or there but not at any of your major shops.

Again this is what I've heard as far as a "second batch" goes.

Best bet is if you want one get on RC-direct or Heliproz list and just wait your turn.

I am on the list with rc-direct and have been for some time. It just doesn't seem that anyone on that list has received a kit since the first batch shipped. Just curious whether my perception was true or not - that's why I wanted to know if anyone on that list has received a kit.

I was told the same thing yesterday, I'm at the end of the second batch and it would be a couple of week's at least. All I can say is if I get a kit by mid summer I'll be happy.

Anyhow, yeah overseas 1st batches are still being paked and delivered and then they will just keep rollingout of the factory. As mentioned there is only one batch technically rhen it is like any other heli they just keep making them !

I'm with Nyman on this one, no one really cares. You should have posted this in the Trex 700 forum. I'm sure Align would LOVE to see this post over there.

Also, that means the people after you just move up one more spot.

Enjoy the 700 I hope they took into consideration the increased power and strain put on a 90 sized heli parts over a 50. It would suck to have to replace parts after a few flights from them wearing out.
