What servo arms are you guys useing with the 8717? The round ones that came with the servos don't have a 12.5mm spaceing, or are you spaceing them further out?

Thanks ,
John

Link works fine for me.

You might need to be registered.
Are you registered on the AvantRC.com/support forum?
If not, you might want to sign up, especially if you are an Avant owner.
There is A LOT of really good info on there.

I have been registered since the support forum started. When I click on a couple of the threads it says it can't find them and that I need to contact the addministrator.

While I do not yet have an Aurora, this is what I have been using for the servo wheels on my 8717's: Horn Drill Gauge.

While it says Futaba on it, it works great on Jr servo wheels. You can drill from 12.5mm - 15mm. You are guaranteed that the holes will be 180 degrees from one another and perfectly aligned with the center of the servo wheel. You will also eliminate the need for any subtrim and don't have to rotate the servo wheel to find the hole that is closest to 90 degrees. Just put it on the servo wheel with the drill gauge holes at 90 degrees to the links and drill the holes for the balls. It is very easy and gets that perfect geometry on the servo wheels that we all want. At a cost of $5.00, it is well worth the money.
