have two hawk pro,s #1 is new using 7c futaba radio #2 is year older ,flys great checked all settings in radio for both- are identical//
using 401 gyro in both using s3151 servo,s like i said all is the same/// cannot stop #1 from spinning checked swithces on gyro all set the same servo travel is the same.... whats wrong??????? didnt do origanal set up#2 heli pilot did bout new one #1 set it up the same or did I??? must have missed something in gyro set up what??? thanks tk..

Hold the head and twist the tail with your hand. I would bet its slipping.

check the bevel gear that is attached to he torque tube and is driven off the main gear, mine did this and it was only because the set screw came loose and the bevel gear was just slipping on the torque tube.

Make sure your reverse settings are the same in the radio as well as on the gyro itself.

If it doesn't fly sell it!

Actually gyro reverse switch should only be set the same on both if the gyro is mounted the same way on both. If the gyro is inverted on one, but not the other, change the switch on whichever one isn't working. Spinning tail usually means the gyro needs to be reversed.

I lost the tail twice do to failure of the torque tube. This has happened on my Hawk Pro and a friends. Im not sure what caused this but since I put a pin in it like Century does on the Predator. Id still like to no why these parts failed or why Century wont pin the end like they do on the Predator.

like tap and snap said check that metal torque rod, I had one fail on me too. I put a pin in it too and jb welded it. Also check your tail servo rod guides. I had one slide to the end right in front on the tail blades and it made the tail servo bind and not move.
