| First off I have not flown a heli in over three years. I was flying a caliber 30 and a voyager 50 but decided to start golfing instead of flying and sold them.
I worked with the stock gyro with this heli but couldn't get the tail wobble to my liking so I changed the gyro to a gy401/s9254 combo and wow what a difference it flies and tracks great. I was a little lery of using a full size servo on the tail but it did not seem to hender performance much if any.
In E-Flights defense I didn't give the stock gyro much of a chance because I already had two gy401 combos laying around from my old helis.
This little heli flies well now and is very enjoyable, I love the fact that I can take it anywhere and let-er-go; no mess, no noise, no smoke, and best of all no clean-up when finished; I just put it back on the shelf.
So far I'm just flying circuits because I'm a little rusty and I have not yet take it to a proper flying area where I have plenty of mistake room in idle up.
I'm flying for around seven minutes just doing casual flying, how long can I expect in idle up? |
