I am looking to buy a new electric heli !
Got already raptor 50, nexus 30, and blade cp pro.
My first choice was the trex 450sa but the mini titan e325 look good too with the cobra fuselage from TT.
T-rex or mini titan for a good electric heli ?

i had both setup and flying just about the same. either is good. some will say all the metal on the trex makes it better but the stock mini titan is a great heli. what ever is easier for you to find parts for i would go that route

DX7, Trex 600N, YS50, JR770 gyro, trex 500

I faced the same decision. I went with the mini titan after a few nights of internet research. I couldn't find any pro's or con's with one versus the other really. I just defaulted to brand loyalty after that. I own two bigger raptors.

If you have and use a local hobby shop, you could base it on which they cover the best with spare parts. It's always nice to have a local spot to pick up parts when you crash.

I will say the mini titan has impressed me so far. I bought the cheaper kit, not the SE version, and it's pretty fine.

I've had the Trex 450se, Mini-Titan, MX400, and Mars 480, and the best one is the Beam E4 450 that I now own!!!

LOL, not sure why Gazzer would say mini most certainly! This is definitely a case of Chevy vs. Ford. For me personally, I went with the TREX since all of my LHS didn't carry anything for the mini. I do most of my shopping online, but it's nice to be able to go to the LHS on a weekend to get that part I don't have on hand.

Thank you all !
I think I'll go with Mini titan for parts easy to get at my dealer and for the nice cobra fuselage available from TT.

I have the T-rex but the beam is awsome and if I did it again I would get the beam.

Thats what I tell everybody, and I've had both the Mini-Titan, and the Trex 450se, and the Beam E4 blows them all away. Its at a whole different level of excellence.

Mini Titan....

He is asking about the trex or mini titan not your friggen beams, we get fricken point its more 3d capable etc.. But for many newbies that isnt a big concern.... its really annoying to keep seeing get the "BEAM!" kinda posts... which is totaly off topic.

Its not off topic. Alot of people don't know about the Beam yet. Its the hottest 450 out on the market right now. The guy deserves to know about it.

I vote for the MT..but I am biased...the BEAM looks like a REALLY nice heli, and I've read nothing but great comments about it...but keep in mind parts support...VERY important for a newbie..its no fun if you cant fly...and I think the beam/parts are only available at 1 place right now(advantagehooby)but I could be wrong...but parts availability is definately something to consider when making a purchase

I didn't meen to be a prick to you, I am just really annoyed of seeing post after post of people saying get the beam when its totaly unrelated to it. That is true, the beam does have really nice bling and fancy carbon fibre stuff. But for most of us noobies, we are looking for parts availability, flyability etc. Im sure the bling and fancy stuff can some in later on... when our skills have advanced.
