Does anyone one know the gear tooth diffrance between a 30 an 50 X-Cell. I am wandering if I realy need to change the main gear or just the Engine and blades. My Gohbee has just one tooth change between 30 to 50. Does it make all that much of a change???????

the stock 30 is a 9.0-1.0 gearing 10 tooth pinion and 90 tooth gear. you shouldnt have to change it but check what rpm your motor is in its power band and do the math based on what head rpm you want to run. have you checked for any issues with mounting the 30 size fan? with the 50 you want to keep and eye on the clutch also. Min Air used to make a 93 and 95 tooth main gear but i am not sure if they are still avail. this will help keep the head speed down if your 50 revs higher than the 30. you will have to modify the engine mounts to use these gears Tom

Thanks I will try to find the other gears. I want to keep a high head speed just don't want to see my blades come flying off in the middle of a piro flip again. I normal run about 2100rpm on my 50's the 30 is getting old and can't maintain that.
