O.K,
Here's my story,,, (short one),,, About two years ago I wa heavy into helis,, didn't even fly my planes,,,, I flew 50 size and 90 size Hirobo's,,,,, built them and setup them up,,,,

** Got tired of tweaking,,, etc,,, etc,,,, and sold everything,,,,,,about 8 months ago,,,just flew my planes,,,,,,,,

** I getting the itch to get something,,,, been looking at some brushless RC cars/trucks,,, but figure I will be bored very quickly,,,,,

** So I started thinking of getting a small electric Heli,,,, A couple of the hobby shops in the area support e-flight and somewhat T-trex stuff,,,,, Mostly e-flight though,,,,,,,,, not that that's the biggest concern,,,,

** So what I'm thinking of is a heli just to fly around,, doesn't hav e to be 3d,,, I like to just fly,,, loops, rolls, etc,,,,,
* I also don't want to have to be tweaking all the time,,, I know it's part of the sport,,, but I don't want it to consume my flying time,,,,,

P.S - I have a few Thunder Power 2070, 3cell 25c batteries and I do have the Fuataba 6 channel 2.4ghz TX,,,,,

thanks in advance,,,,,

If you wanna reduce you're tweaking time go electric. If you wanna reduce you're maintenance and overall wear go mini electric. B400 Trex450 and Mini titan are all great choices.

If you wanna sell those batteries gimme a pm.

with 2 ears and 1 mouth you should listen twice as much as you talk

Sounds like you are looking in the right direction. These little helis are so simple to fly, just plug and fly. Then when you are done, put them in the trunk and drive off. Simple simple simple. But ...

All these helis are CCPM based, does your Futaba support CCPM mixing? Are you ready for the speed of these small helis? Just because they are small, does not mean they will be cheap, so be ready for that.

I am one of the local ESky King2 pushers No really it is a super cheap and somewhat crappy heli but setup correctly it is a hoot. The Mini and Rex are definitely better setup-once-and-fly-100-packs kind of helis. They are really well designed and made. I would recommend the plastic version of either. The Mini will be easier to work on but the Rex has better local support for parts. Both fly great. The B400 is only for someone who doesn't want to touch the thing but fly it. It is full RTF and they fly fine but are by no means perfect. So in conclusion, I would look at the 450 crowd and go from there.

I just purchased a mini titan. From a semi beginner pilot's point of view that little thing is about as stable in the air as my raptor .30 or .50, minus the nitro engine tweaking. The wind doesn't even bother it near as much as I assumed it would. That is with only one night of setup too.

Once I invest in enough battery packs to fly it more I think it may become my main bird.

So for a mini electric with a big birds feel, there's one option.
