Thunder Tiger Raptors 30-90 - Imperio > RAPTOR 30 what field box works well for Raptor?

I looked at a Hobbico yellow plywood model today. <$50, a couple of drawers, vented box for battery etc. Not too bad but I wish it were better organized and offered some protection for radio, more drawers, a better spot for starter, etc.

Yeah, I guess I'm a picky bugger!

What's the ticket for your rappy?

Thanks!

My ticket is what I got for free - 0 drawers, platform at one end for the 1/2 gallon fuel can, power panel at the other, two compartments in the middle - one for the 7Ah battery and one for the rest of the kit - starter, glow lead, assorted tools.

My radio lives in its Futaba aluminium case, so I end up NOT dragging the case to the middle of the field with me - just a strap and tray for the Tx.

"It's a Raptor, just fly it!" Is what I keep getting told.

I just us a fishing tackle box. There are many styles to choose from and you should be able to find one that works for you.

no need for high dollar stuff

I went to my local hardware shop and picked up an aluminum case for my radio and then got a second hand home made flight box from a fellow club member. It doesnt matter if its a raptor or not all you need is a place to put your tools and fuel bla bla bla. Save your money for parts....trust me I learned that quick

How high does it go? How fast does it go? Huh huh huh huh???!!!!

You need Raptor Man to Carry It' Like I do !

Ha we hauled out three tonight ! Two wheel cart, three aluminum cases,
a Byron Pit Pal that has to weigh 40 Lbs with all the goodies, We even mumbled about a golf cart !!!

Sure had fun ! one dgasser, and two Rappie - Nope three ! I guess we hauled out four tonight !

Lot's of fog - we ain't got no Bugs

Tommorow maybe we take the Cabana and the pool boy, and a barbaque chef. Or call in Pizza.

Bottom line it how much stuff do you need ?

Byron Pit Pal's are nice .

I might even toss in my old manual push mower to trim down a spot

The Hobbico does look good for sure, thanks.

I've narrowed it down to the Hobbioo Ultratote or the Sig miniboss.

The Sig mini looks good because of the extra drawers.

I don't see where the fuel pump would mount...maybe on the top shelf?
