Hi all . I know this will be here somewhere in RR , trouble is the search function isn't working atm and I can't find any mention of the do's and don't of carrying out a heatsink mod to a Jazz 55 ? I sort of know what I have to do just didn't want to stuff it up . I was talking to a guy today and he said he knew of a person that did wreck his 55 by doing something wrong when adding a heatsink . Any help or links greatly appreciated.
Jason.

Thermal Epoxy, buy some PC chip heatsink, cut with dremel tool or small hacksaw and mount up, easy peasy...
...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

Heatsink Mod...Do as Shawn (OICU812) said...you need to cut back the heatshrink off the "plate" and then use thermal compound/epoxy and glue the heatsink on...if you do not use thermal compound/epoxy on it the heat transfer will be poor at best.
If you temp the esc and then the heatsink they should be within 10 degrees of each other...if they aren't then the heat transfer is not right..
I personally like the blue anodized heatsinks you can get at Radio shack...
