I can give a quick description...

I am running an optical sensor. I made a monting bracket to fit between the frames along the angle above and in front of the clutch bell. I ponted the sensor at the side of my clutch bell, put a piece of masking tape on the bell and painted the bell black (while holding the brush with paint against the bell, I turned the maingear to spin the bell). Then I just removed the tape and, viola, instant GV-1 setup.

Incidentally, I've been having trouble with the GV-1 not holding the headspeed. It may be due to the messy job I did when I peeled the tape off the bell and some paint came with it. Note to self: let the paint dry well before you peal the tape off.

Good luck,
Malorie
