Other than to make the setup look good with the bling-bling, there really is not need for it. The OEM parts are well made.

yes the stock Washout setup is very well made, better than many higher priced brands, I have never had a problem with them,, but the theory is the Aluminum Arms are lighter so they would give a quicker response (NOT that I need a quicker response), I just never bought much bling before so I am just thinking I would buy some now..

Bling-bling is fine. It's just in my opinon, the expense I have in bling-bling, equates to that much for replacement when I crash So why not keep it simple and stay with the stock, proven items?

Oh I agree 100%, LOL that is why I never bought much of it,,

in 006 and 005 I had my heli crashing down to once a year (that was good), then I bought a 2nd heli last spring (Knight Sport), then my crash rate went up to 3 times a year

hey Ray, know what I am finely buying after 6 years, the Aluminum Carburetor Arms, I have always wanted them knowing they will help make setting up the carb linkage easier, but I have always put it off saying I could get along without them, and I did get along without them but this year I'm ordering- em..

I use to have that on a couple of my helis but the OEM part was sufficent enough for usage. Again, why use your hard earned cash on things that don't improve the performance of the heli?

I have decided not to buy the arms but I am going to buy the aluminum washout hub,,

I learned a long time ago how how important a good throttle setup is, so I'm a real stickler when it comes to my throttle setup, if it takes me a hour or more to get it right so-be-it, so if these aluminum arms are more helpful then I'm up for them, as I said in the past I have reframed from buying such things like this, but now I'm going to buy them,, the only upgrades I have ever bought in the past was carbon tail blades, rear rudder servo mount and the metal grips, I do have the longer carbon battery tray but I need 2 more mounting blocks..

I've used the aluminum washout arms, and they do improve the accuracy of the cyclic a small amount. Are they worth the cost? You will have to make that determination.

geezzz,,, man,, thanks Steve,,, now you got me thinking again LOL

naa, I think I would only buy them IF they made my Raven fly noticeably smoother, it's cyclic is quick enough for me that's for sure..

Jim, Read my post again, I did not say it would make the cyclic quicker, I said it would make the cyclic more accurate.

it doesn't say it, but this item will work for the 90 machines right? they all seem to have a lot of common parts.
