Just as the title says; for those of you that have your Aurora, please post your experiences with durability, reliability, crash cost, parts availabilty and customer service here to share with the rest of us. My decision to buy, and I'm sure those of some others also, will depend on the feedback and comments found here in the coming months.

Thanks to those of you who share...

Adam

I bought my Aurora not for customer service / parts availibility / or crash cost. If that was the case I would not have bought one, To me it is a work of ART the construction of this Heli showed that it was peaked out second to none and second for flying ability it has a programmable head and the rest follows, Simply put I had to have to one, for me forget about everything else.

I've had my Avant FX for yrs now. the only thing I had to replace was the bearings in the clutch stack. I've flown and let others fly my pre-production Aurora and I've never had any issues.

I'm almost finished with my Aurora build, I had a missing bag #11 in my first kit. Augusto sent me the parts priority mail ASAP! All my questions have been asked, and as you probably know, the Aurora has some super great ideas in technology, and is a pleasure to build. I found out tonight that I'm also missing the bell mixer arms in both of my kits! So I sent another email to Augusto, I'm hoping that he can get me the parts sent out monday. It's hard to believe that these parts were missing in my kits, when all the smaller bits and pieces were all there!

I seen an Aurora that was in kit form today and I was not all that impressed. The carbon frames looked like they were cut out with a pocket knife and the torque tube was bent in a letter Z. I don't know about you but I know if I paid that kind of money for the so called "Ultimate Heli" and it came looking like that I would be pretty upset...

Its What I dont Say You Should Be Worried About...

customer service is outstanding. Overnighted parts for me without having to ask. I had a couple questions and he left me his personal phone number to call. Luckily I haven't crashed it yet.

Thats funny my mixing arms were missing to, along with one of the carbon ratio plates. I E-mail Augusto on the ratio plate and the part was to me in just two days. I sent another E-mail for the other missing parts and I'm sure they well be to me just as fast. I think Augusto has been on top of the new kits. Thats Augusto

Gosh,
I think Augusto needs to get Jason and Brandon to help package the Aurora kits! If they packaged half as well as they flew, the kits would have no missing parts!
