e-Electric Motors & Controllers > Castle Creations Phoenix 45 problem

Hey guys.

I had to replace my ACE ESC in my mini-Titan with a Castle Phoenix 45. I installed the programming software on my laptop, did the config. etc. and changed the parameters for my setup but no-go.

The LED on the ESC flashes red (w/beeps 3 times) on power-up and then continues flashing red.

I don't know what's wrong.

I also tried setting Throttle L value to 110 and then 120 but still no.

Using Spektrum DX7, AR7000, GY401. All pitch/throttle curves are in the radio.

Worked fine before with the stock ESC.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

If you haven't done so already, check to make sure your low throttle is set to 0 and that the CC is not reverse of the ACE. Thottle servo needs to be reversed with CC on Futaba systems. Don't know about ACE.

did you plug the esc into the motor?? If you don't you won't get the beeps-only the lights.

Thanks Herky.

Problem was solved by re-binding the radio.
