Hi
Anyone know if the Reflex sim works with the 2.4g JR radios?

My Spektrum converted one works ok but the new DSX9 refuses to even see the program and justs asks you to `Turn the TX on`.

Any ideas?

Should not be a problem as the connection is still PPM to the simulator.

My DSX9 works with Phoenix OK so I would expect Reflex to work as well. I suppose the plug is fully in on the TX. Mine was very stiff for the first few times and it did not connect. Just a thought

Hi

Yeah the plug goes in fully and the TX`s display comes on.
I do not switch the tx on either only plug the interface into the DSC socket as per my 8103 (3810) which does work.

Again only the message `Switch on your Transmitter` is displayed on the pc.

There is some thing very weird going on here.

Any more ideas as I need to transfer all my models including the sim over to the new TX and sell the old one.

I am assuming that the TX is brand new, it is possible that the socket or more is faulty in the TX. Do you have a buddy cord as you could try connecting the 3810 as a buddy and see if you get control of a model on the ground just to prove the socket/tx works. If you get nothing then the TX has problems.
I will think further and see what I come up with.
It should at least recognise that the TX is connected
The DSX9 only has the PPM setting you cannot set it like the old sets to PCM etc.
Let me know how you go. OH do you know anyone else that has a DSX9 so you can try it to prove the system works or not....

Can you tell me what sort of lead you are using?

I have the older lead which has a `dongle`in the middle of it.
It is a stereo type plug and has a resistor wired into it.

Just a thought

Finally sorted mine out just by changing the existing stereo jack plug to a mono one and by cutting out the resistor
