I went out to do a demo flight for some school kids today with the Vbar 600N, and luckily noticed before I took off that the 9254 on the tail is chattering. So, I need a new tail servo. I know the BLS-251 is awesome, and my LHS has them, but I prefer to buy servos that aren't so limited, and the 251 like the 9251 is the narrow pulse that can only be used on certain gyros as a tail servo. I much prefer the 8900g, since it can be used multiple places. Has anyone had any experience with the 8900G on the VBar? I think I remember reading of someone having problems with it, but wanted to check. Any other suggestions would be appreciated as well.

I am using a 8900G on my V-Bar 600E. No issues whatsoever. No idea if it is the best tail servo for the V-bar but it just works.

Thanks, unfortunately, my LHS didn't have an 8900g in stock, so I picked up the BLS-251. Got a great deal on it, I just didn't want to buy a servo that I could ONLY use on the tail. It's very blingy with the gold case.

Yeah, I didn't want to have the heli sitting all weekend while I waited for the 8900 to show up. If that happened, I'd be flying my 90 all weekend, and the difference in fuel costs alone would make up the difference in price.
