Thanks to everyone who put on this funfly!!! IT WAS GREAT!!! SOOO Glad I went!!

You guys had BY Far the best hamburger I have had at a funfly... mummm good!! I need to find out where you got that beef.

It was great seeing everyone that made it out... and also to make some new friends!!

"Spot on Brian" - Saturday was actually a very cool day!! Really enjoyed it!! We all got a chance to get to know each other better and become better friends, build/ fix helis, start earlier on drinking beer, etc. There was lots of cooking and sharing of food ("thanks" again Kat, Carrie, Joe)

Sunday really couldn't have been nicer!! It was light winds, sunny, and not to hot.

The raffle had some really nice prizes. Got lucky and won the Boca Bearing $50 gift certificate. Might not have won if more people came

I am still wondering were the cake and party favors got to from the HPCer meeting??? Didn't get any... and Ray swears they had some

Kudos to my fellow HPCer Dave for winning the Derby (again)!! Team Wobbler Rules

WOW, I believe every one had a great time even with Hana's visit, those that were there actually saw me fly for the first time at an event.

It was great to get to know those that weathered the storm on a non business level. I actually enjoyed not having my head buzzing all day getting parts etc. Although every year I get more organized. I've got a great idea for next years trailer, and how to handle even more items, without the mess.

Special thanks to Kat, Carrie and Joe for the great food. The CD's for putting together another great event(plan better weather next year please ) Thanks to everyone we were able to help with parts, kits, radios, etc. Wait till you see what I have planned for the 09 rig! Hope to see you all at the next event.

Gathering

Other then my 5 flights old B/W Stratus boom strike, subsequent dirt nap, clutch melt down and a total loss of my custom painted canopy, I had a great time. Still not sure what caused it since it was a new machine I can only assume I popped a link from the blade grip it went out of track and struck the boom. Talked to MA today about the misshap and they are going to help me out. Good seeing everyone again. Hey Jay 1 more raffle win next year for the trifecta...LOL
