In addition to John's (MrHillbilly) question about whether anyone was flying this weekend, I'm curious to know how much flying is everyone doing? Actually I'm trying to gauge my illness. I'm working on gallon #11 for 2008. I'm sure others are sicker than I. How many gallons have you flown so far this year?

None for me this weekend. I will be about 450 miles from my birds. But I will get to play in the ocean tho.

Over the last 2 1/2 weeks I burned a little better than a gallon, I am at about 3.5 this year so far. Most of that was last month. Bad weather this month.

I'm only at just over a gallon so far for the year. Stupid school and work!

A gallon and a half last weekend.
This weekend I polished off about 3/4 of a gallon.
It's part of my 12 step program.

I'm embarassed to say I have 16 gallons sitting in my carport. I've flown 2 gallons since October 07, and maybe 1/4 a gallon in the gassers. Very little flying for me lately. Too busy.

This weekend though, I have mow the lawn and wash the vehicles. That's it, so I plan to fish Saturday and fly Sunday - providing nothing comes up.

Four gallons so far. busy at work. have two cases under desk so will be burning them as quick as possible. Two panteras arrived yesterday in the mail. As soon as I get the required items, engines, servos, etc I am shure the fuel consumption is going to go up.

Just cracked open gallon 6 for the year. The sad thing is I didn't even have a nitro flying until the end of January (bought my first Pantera and spent Jan. building it)

I meant to do that!!!

Dusted off gallon six for the year. Then I got stupid.
Tail slide with a tic followed by a piro. Ran out of sky.
Main frame, and all normal stuff broken. Pulled out Pantera two and got another 1/2 gallon done. I miss my primary ship as she had super fast servos and 72 hours of flight time. Looks like I have all the spare parts in stock.

I was even more dumb. I bought 2 gallons of Wildcat AIRPLANE fuel today 'cause I have been having a lot of fun with a UCanDo. THAT's going to take away from some heli flying though I did work on gallon 11 with the Tiger last evening. Hey, speaking of fuel, has anyone run into a shortage? My local shop has not been able to get Wildcat fuel for two weeks.

There has been talk of nitro manufacturers in China having trouble getting nitro. Not too sure how accurate that statement is. I think I read it on the freak.

I got two more cases of fuel just in case!
As most of you know. We only have two factorys in the world making Nitro. Several years ago a Nito reactor was hit durring katrina.
That left two.

No, that I did not know. Two sources for nitro. Thats not good. I just polished off gallon #11 Wildcat 15% Helimix in the Tiger 50 and the Raptor 61 so I have 5 gallons left on hand. I think I will see if I can get two more cases "just in case" as well.

Sounds like you need to get in the air a bit more.
I remember a chap that had the line in one of the plank mags. "If your not flying, your not trying."
He was right!

Hey, I like that saying. I in fact dont care for the simulator. I'd rather be outside flying, burning fuel even at the risk of damaging a heli. Even when I'm not trying something new I can feel my abilities expanding. You have to burn fuel to get better.
