Ever get the feeling the heli gods are trying to tell you something? Usually when I buy a heli I have it built and flying in like 1-2 days. I've had my Beam for a month and it still hasn't left the ground. The build went ok, but then:

- I got screwed by some as$hole when I bot a used Phx 45
- I've got a sever motor start stutter problem that keeps it from starting 9 outta 10 times
- Had to sand down my blades to get them into the blade grips
- First time I actually started to spin it up, the shield on my tail case bearing fell out

Are the heli gods trying to tell me something? Will this Beam ever leave the ground?

just take your time and don't push it! mine went together pretty straight forward (besides looking everywhere for 5.5mm nut drivers). I'm running on 4s and having mind blowing results. make sure you get a ball sizer if you don't have 1. my bird is silky smooth,I love it.

It will if you throw it.

I've had the least amount of Karma with the Beam E4. Worse karma I've had was with a Trex 450se.

The Beam just rules the 450 heli world!!!!!

Always use your 'gut' feel. It's usually right.

Good luck!

Hmm... the bad Karma continues. I finally got my esc working, kinda, and went to spin it up for the first time, agian. Blades are spooling up, it's looking nice and smooth and then just before I'm about to pitch up a bit for some lift I hear a loud, low flutter. Sounds just like a pitch link has come off and it's gone to full neg pitch. Hit throttle hold, luckily it didn't go crazy and smash itself to pieces. I pick it up and notice the screw on one of the mixing arms has backed out and it and one of the bearings is gone. I really think this heli is trying to tell me something.
