Both work fine, neither need any adaptors, and the latest version has preset profiles for both transmitters which makes setup extremely easy.

Ok I have just got a new DX7 and I have just been using it on my Phoenix sim and it was fine. I then tried to see if I could program throttle hold to do autos and now it wont work! The heli just sits there and I cant get the rotor to start up, what have I done wrong?

Did you flip the throttle hold back off? I use throttle hold on my DX7 with Phoenix and it works fine. Did you change anything else besides enabling throttle hold in the DX7?
