Yes, Phoenix is the best. Graphics are not as good as G-4, but physics are almost right on. You can tweak the settings so that it emulates your model better than G-4. I'll take the realism over the eye candy any day.

Customer service is way above average. I sent in a question once that in hind site seemed foolish. They answered promptly and professionally even though the question was kind of silly. The add on aircraft and scenery are free to download on the Phoenix site.

You have to use your own transmitter, but in a way, this is better as this has you learning how the settings work in your radio.

I don't think the GFX are worse than G4 at all. specially not on high end video hardware with all the candy turned on.

Yep realism > graphics. I just got mine yesterday. Downloaded the trex 600 red and tweaked the governor to my head speed. I can't tell the difference between it and the real thing

A "fixed wing" is just a seized rotor...
