Hi,

Before I start building my Sceaudu I was wondering if there are som special tools needed?

I saw on jason.net that he used some special Hirobo tool for the clutch assembly. Is this needed?

I'll receive my kit around middle of March

It's nice but not needed.
If your fan is the screw on type, Just take the carb off and stick a small WOOD dowel down into the intake let that lock the crank while you SNUG up the fan. Then just put the Nut on with a little blue locktight and your done.

It doesn't take much gorrilla grip to put it on either.

Ok. I never used one of those tools for my Millennium helicopter. It probably does not exist either.

I just used a tool from Quick UK that you put on instead of the glow plug. This tool will prevent the piston from going up and down.

I guess I can use that instead then.

I think OS has a platcis piece that you put on instead of the back cover of the engine. It is supposed to work well.

I have also used a wooden stick before and that works well too

I can't think of anything that the Sceadu needs vs any other new helicopter. I always make sure that my work space is as clean as possible prior to building anthing new to prevent getting some "Prehistoric Cross Contamination" with my new birds.
