Got Jet Fuel? Turbine Helicopters > Turbine @ a Show Question ?

I have been asked to organize a show/display of model helicopters,

In our club there are 4 turbine owners, 2 scale and 2 pod and boom, I thought it would be good to show the elite models of our hobby, I have read threads of others representing the hobby at shows and other public events,

Is there any restrictions on displaying a turbine indoors at a public event ?

just make sure there is lots of ventilation and room...

as long as there is no fuel to create a fire hazard then there should be no problem. Altimately it will depends on the location and show officials.

You cannot afford to learn by your own mistakes.

as long as you dont start it up then theres no problem.
apart from that i would look at the posts from the members of plymouth helis as they put on a few very popular displays each year and are very good at what they do.

youll see me in your nightmares and your dreams ill apear out of no where but im not what i seem

thanks for the info guys,
will look into the info you provided, the show is for a local colledge, who are having memebers from the aviation world do like a career convention, the MOD, TA, and other parts to the arm forces will be there, i was just asked to provide a few Model hellies for the stands, i have looked on here at the many clubs that have done a lot for the hobby, seen some good pictures, but none of the indoor ones had turbines in, hence the reason for my question..

One of the guys has a really nice 3 bladed EC135, and a very large Bell 45, we are also going to approach Len Mount to see if we would be willing to lend one of his lovely scale machines.

Thanks for the advice,

i will now close the thread
