Thanks mates
The pic above is one of my favorites, I shot it with low sun and may be that´s what MPA said about shooting early morning or in the afternoon get better pictures. In the other side another fine picture for me was this one. I suppose the high and brilliant sun this day gives so little contrast on it.

Both were taken with the old mount and hope to get better ones with the new camera holder.

Good DOF in that first shot and well balanced contrast throug it.
Can I ask you what the ISO, shutter and f values is on those shots ?

I took originally this pics in RAW format but as soon as I changed it to JPG format I lost all information about them. There were only trial samples to know if the carrier mount work like expected .
As far as I remember I put the camera in full automatic mode and it selected a 1/50 speed with an F about 4.0 and 1/200 ISO but I´m not sure enough
The speed was right because after it I remember I thought it was very slow and tried to choose for the next ones a higher speed to freeze more the image.

Sorry for my ignorance but what´s DOF?

Pretty good for try outs.

(as flyboy has pointed out)
DOF = depth of field.
Good detail and focus on the far houses and throughout.
I was interested to see how high the f value was in light of the good DOF.

Thanks Flyboy , MPA
English is hard to me sometimes.

Must wait a little till I´m able to take some more pics and rescue those datas. I´m currently putting in order the mess I have with all the wires arriving to my receiver and programing the new channel operations.
Also a coupler of new electronic switches from Italy are close to arrive home and whant to test it all.

Btw, sometime ago I found a guy that post tha way to get one channel more from the Futabe R149DP receiver and have 10 operational channels. I saved the pics but have tried it today and it works like announced. very easy and only cost 1USD
Some 149DP units have little diferences about ground pins and that must be check before.

Will keep You updated

Hi ELOSSAM,

That's a very nice149DP mod you point out. (I have a 149DP that came with an awesome Logo 20 electric heli that I picked up on e-bay) -
I don't need to keep it there as I have a 148DP that is probably better suited to the Logo.

Two questions please:

How do you command the 10th channel from a ?9 channel TX?

Going one step further, if you can command CH10 from a 9 channel TX could it be possible to command channels 9 AND 10 from the 8 channel TX that I have?

Thank you,

Julian

P.S. sorry guys that I have been out of the loop for a while - the day job went too crazy to concentrate on RR / heli dev - something had to give.

Hi Julian, nice to heard you again.
Take an eye to http://www.model-gadgets.com/ and go to the D.I.Y link on the left side. You will go to a page with some interesting notes including the receiver modification and a link to the 9Z.
I use a FC28 transmitter with 10 ch output so no mod on my transmitter were necessary.

As far as I know click just below the image on your gallery and copy the code it will show you. Then back to the topic post, paste the code wherever you want to show the pic (at the beginig, end on betwen lines) and send the post. It will take some time till the pics becomes a thumbnail, you will see at first only a link square
