Hey guys, anybody know if I can use the new WT603 carb on my Z230 gasser, without modifications?, the engine in this heli is a Zenoah G230 PUH, the carb on it now is a Walbro WA167A, Would it be worth it to change over to this new carb?, what can be expected after doing so?, Thanks!!, Joe

Joe,

I just did the carb conversion on my X-Cell gasser. The only thing I HAD to do was drill the throttle lever mounting hole a little larger to fit the 603 carb as the throttle shaft is a little larger diameter. I also mounted the stock air filter on the new card which took some modification. The bore is larger on the 603 carb, and it has a choke built in , so I had to enlarge the bore of the filter, and remove the choke. The performance is noticeably improved with the 603 carb. Hope this helps.
