Hello guys, i'm looking for new sceadu i was looking at EX version SWM kit lately i really likes Hirobo's and i've seen upgraded version of Sceadu 50 Metal Head, CF frams, tail boom ..etc i'm really interested on this kit any recommendation from experts who own this kit ? should i go for HPM kit or SWM kit ? and is there any spare parts available for Ex version in case of crash

Thanks alot

I would always take the HPM kit, but that's just me.

If you're a 3D pilot you take the SWM.

Parts support might be an issue since this is the top of the line 50 that very few retailers would have in stock, so I either buy another kit or buy spares to begin with.

Hi Master

Have you looked at Hobby Centre. They had the Sceadu EX in stock some time back....they may have sold them all. You know how bling bling things sell over here.

It looks like a really top class machine.

Regards
Paul

PS: If you need someone to 'test fly' the EX for you, just give a shout.....I would love to test an EX.

Sceadu 50 EX

This is a wonderful machine. As I have stated many times this is a very stable yet agile system. It flies like it is on rails and is very solid even though it is smaller by Freya standards. I find it hovers well even in strong winds, a real pleasure to fly.

I would love to find an EX used. The price of the new is just too much for a 50.

700N, EVO 50, Caliber 5, Beam 450, and comming soon TREX 9000 :)

If you think that's high then the Eagle 3 VPUS is horrendous. But even at the suggested retail price the machine is worth every penny.

Hi Master

I was at Hobby Centre in Mall of the Emirates today. They had a Freya EX2 swm and a Caliber 90 built and on display. If you want bling helis, you need to go have a look. They are one up on an Evo50 EX.

Paul

Check out the first three pics in my gallery! She has done about 12 flights so far and i can tell you that this baby is as smooth as silk and flies like its on rails! Its the SWM version and if you take your time setting it up, you will be rewarded with a heli that tracks beautifully in a straight line and through loops and rolls. Im using the redline 53 motor which seems to be producing great power at rather rich settings (still almost 3 turns out on the main). Servos are Futaba 9252 and JR 770t gyro with 8900g tail servo. You will not be dissapointed if you get one. I have owned a couple of evo 50's and the EX has a different feel all together!

The EX is an amazing machine.
Worth every penny and zero regrets.
Smooth as silk and rock solid.

Just remember -- if the world didn't suck, we would fall off.
