If it's half as good as last year, it will be awesome.

The older I get, the shorter my attention....... Oh look. A shiny penny..

I'm a new heli pilot and have never been to one of these before.

I'll be bringing the whole family down. Any tips or things I should bring to make it an enjoyable experience for my wife and two kids of 12 and 8?

Just finished helping Dennis and Jay load up DEETEE's hobby shop for the weekend. They should be on site and setting up soon.

Makaluch, there is usualy food on site but you'll want to bring chairs. With any luck, the weather forcast will be correct and it will be nice enough to hang out on the grass.

Rob is correct, the night flying is a good time, if last month's fun fly is any indication, there will be a bunch of folks flying after dark.

Yup, after dark is the only time to fly.

At Othello back in May, on Friday night there were 11 people that flew that night, and that didn't include two guys who didn't fly that night.

I'm only going to fly at night most likely.

Well,

I will not be there this weekend. Was planning on having a good time seeing everybody. Just started working at Knife edge and they invited me to go to XFC. It was a hard choice, I really wanted to see everyone. Travis is coming up and going to be there at one point. I will be at Snohomish and the second Brooks. I have not flown since Brooks last year. Now that I'm working in the hobby, I'll be picking up gear again. Cant wait to see you guys this summer. Have fun.

Paul, how is the 14MZ working for you? Nice bike, I just picked up a Ducati 848. I like it lots. I'll put some picks in my gallery.

Ok...now I'm all packed up. Yes, those are Rotortech blades in my bedroll. They're Mr70SS night blades for Bill P. and Allen S.

Chris, MZ is great, its in the rear bag in lots of foam. Kinda wish I had a 7C right now. Sorry we're going to miss you this weekend. Have fun at XFC.

Just got back from 3 nights and 4 days at Brooks, and we had a blast! Unfortunately we had to leave Saturday afternoon and miss the steak dinner, but it was a truly great event this year! Great to see everyone too

This years event was the best yet.

And the night shows were spectacular.

Just got home and unloaded. There were 100 registered pilots and a bunch of real good flying. I think most in attendance enjoyed the no contest fun fly, just open flying from the time you open your eyes until you can't take any more, what a blast.

I think at one time I counted 14 helicopters in the air at one time, it was a bit crowded but pretty cool to see.

Yeah, I'd have to say, it was a great event. It was great to see some old friends I hadn't seen in a few years, and those who I just saw over at Othello. How was night flying on Saturday night? Friday night saw quite a bit of activity.

Thanks to all those who helped put on the event, as well as Craig from Tammies, and Dennis from DeeTee for setting up their booths.
