So look what turned up in the attic.

FP-T6FG/K 7 channel gold series futaba FG transmitter.
Antenna is not bent, channel 34 72.470mghz am chip or crystal or whatever you call em. Battery still holds a charge!!!! and the original antenna flags look like they just came from the factory yesterday. Unused and mint neckstrap

Matching FP-R7H 7ch reciever. Works and looks like new.

4x FP-S48 Full size servo's. Working and looking like new

Charger for tx and rx pack. Works and dosen't get abnormally hot.

Original servo tray's (1 holds 3 servo's and power switch and 1 holds only one servo) Main tray is installed but unused. Single tray is new.

Original power switch, works and looks like new.

Unopened package of servo horns and misc hardware

Misc servo horns and hardware.

Even the ORIGINAL box and warranty card.

So, question is, what's it worth? It does have a bit of sentimental value and memories associated with it so please no ignorant "I'll give you 5 bucks" bs please. I've seen similar systems go on ebay for 200 250 ish. Is that a regular thing or is there something in there I'm not aware of. Any ideas or should I just keep it and let it collect dust for another 20 years?

There's more pictures where that came from so if anone want's to see more let me know. This is a MINT WORKING SYSTEM. All you need is an rx power supply.:)

Nice radio, but not much demand for them anymore, maybe with the plank fliers, but that isn't a heli radio. Put it on E-Bay...

eBay...

I agree with Coop and furthermore it's not narrowbanded although it's on the newer group of channels. Probably from the time period when the even number channels were just phased in and wideband (40kHZ) separation was the new thing.

Collector's piece only - not safe to put into daily operation. eBay away! Good luck.

So many heli's - too little time...

Thanks for the input guys. Still wondering what a reasonable asking price is though.

Oh yeah, don't worry I won't be "using" any of the electronics. Hardly trustworthy imo especially since I'm already on the 2.4 bandwagon. Anyways spread the word. I am open to offers.

One more thing, I found the rx pack bundled up in some foam at the front of my big a$$ old school plank. (78inch wingspan) I wouldn't necessarily trust it to last for very long but it's taking a healthy amperage while charging as we speak, nothing alarming thus far and it's been on the charger for at least an hour or so. Now the kit is complete, everything it came with when my Dad and I brought it back from the store way back when. Ahhhh, good times.

Does anyone have a source for specs on the servo's or possibly a pdf manual? Parts diagrams? I wouldnt mind printing some of that stuff off and putting it in the box. Whether I sell it or not it will be nice to have.

gold futaba tranny

Just a trip back to the gold area, most of the golds received
gold "91" stickers without much tuning as they came from the factory.

I happen to have a radio just like that one SpeedDemon; maybe I'll list it on Ebay as well.
